1. Calling all Wayside artists!

Do you enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films and taking photos? Then join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with PTA Reflections!

For more than 50 years, National PTA has celebrated the imagination and creativity of students through the Reflections program. Reflections is a unique arts-in-education effort as it engages all students, including two age groups for elementary schools: Primary for K through grade 2, and Intermediate for grade 3 through grade 5. The 2022-2023 theme is Show Your Voice!

There are six categories for this friendly competition, and participants can enter in more than one category. Below are the six categories
1)      Dance Choreography
2)      Film Production
3)      Literature
4)      Music Composition
5)      Photography
6)      Visual Arts
There is also a division for the Special Artists.
Official rules & category specific guidelines can be found:
https://www.fspta.org/reflections.

Entries are due by November 22, 2022. Please fill out this entry form. (The upper half will be filled in by the reflections chair.)

2. Spirit Night at Potomac Pizza is on November 10th!

Join us at Potomac Pizza in Potomac Village between 4pm and 8pm to help support the Wayside PTA and have a yummy dinner!

3. Printed School Directories are headed your way!

The printed school directories started going home last week.  If you joined the PTA and do not receive your directory by the end of the week, please email president@waysidepta.org.
We have a few extras, so there’s still time to join the PTA and get a printed directory of your very own!
