Why should I join the PTA?
The Wayside Elementary School PTA is successful because of committed and generous parents like you! Every year our PTA plans, hosts, and funds numerous events, such as Bingo Night, Skate Night, Multicultural Night, Community Service Night, STEM Night, the Spring Carnival, and the Art Fair. The PTA funds important programs and resources, including BrainPop, IXL, and cultural assemblies. We also support our teachers and staff throughout the school year.
How much does it cost to join the PTA?
PTA membership dues are $35. All PTA members will get one free copy of the school directory.
How do I join the PTA?
To access the new Wayside AtoZ Connect site, please visit https://waysidepta.membershiptoolkit.com/ and create a new account (if you haven’t used the new site before with another organization). All new and returning families need to create a new account this year.
1) Click “Register/Login”, then “Create Account”. Create your family’s account and click “verify my email”.
2) Check your email for a link to complete the process.
3) Finish your registration (parent/family and student info and directory publish preferences).
4) Visit the Membership Store and join the PTA ($35). (This is also where you can make your Direct Donation.)
Do I have to volunteer my time when I join the PTA?
No! Joining the PTA does not commit you to volunteering. We are mindful of parents’ busy lives and welcome your time and expertise in any way that fits your schedule.
How else can I support the Wayside PTA?
Please contribute to our Direct Donation Campaign! The membership dues do not cover the cost of everything the PTA does for Wayside Elementary School, so we ask members to consider a donation of $100 per family. You can add a direct donation to your online payment or check when you renew your membership or join the PTA.
