1. Wayside Book Fair + Special Events

We know you are all missing the excitement and fun of the annual Scholastic Book Fair. This year’s Book Fair is online and will run until November 19. Don’t forget to shop online!

Enter the Book Fair Scavenger Hunt using this document.  Send your finished entries (with your name, grade, and homeroom teacher on the form) to Linda Young at logowear@waysidepta.org. One student from each grade will win 20 Scholastic Dollars to spend at the Book Fair! Submit your entry by November 13 and we will pick the winners then. You have to be in it to win it!

The highlight each year is our Teacher Reading Night at the Book Fair. While we cannot get together for cookies and milk this year, we have our fantastic teachers lined up to read to you on Wednesday, November 11 at 7 p.m. It will be such a pleasure to see the familiar faces of our teachers! Zoom details will be sent in a separate email. A brief PTA general membership meeting will take place before at the beginning of the reading night.

2. Spirit Night at Gregorio’s on November 17!

Come to the first Spirit Night of the school year at Gregorio’s at Cabin John Mall on November 17 between 4 and 10 p.m.! Enjoy delicious Italian food and pizza for carry out or dine in. Mention “Wayside” when placing your order and 10% of proceeds will be donated to the PTA to support programs that directly benefit our kids.
