2. Only 3 More Gift Cards Needed for Teacher Appreciation Week
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to donate a gift card. Please remember to drop off your gift card in the main office by April 26th in a clearly labeled envelope.
We like to provide each Wayside Staff member with a $25 gift card to Amazon or Target.  Please sign up now to donate gift cards to our incredibly devoted staff who provide our students with knowledge, joy and a healthy learning environment.
Gift cards will not go directly to your child’s teacher but will go to a staff member at Wayside.

8. MCCPTA Seeks Candidates to Serve as Winston Churchill Cluster Coordinators for the 2024-2025 School Year
A Winston Churchill Cluster Coordinator works with local PTAs in the cluster (Bells Mill ES, Beverly Farms ES, Potomac ES, Seven Locks ES, Wayside ES, Cabin John MS, Hoover MS, and Winston Churchill HS) regarding compliance, transition support, advocacy (specific advocacy to school, testimony for MCPS Capital Improvement Programs and MCPS Operating Budget), guidance, and more.  Interested?  Please contact Susan Lifsey at SusanLifsey@gmail.com.
