6. Churchill Athletics Mulch Sale
The Winston Churchill Athletics Program is holding its first annual spring mulch sale to support our athletic teams and the student athletes with the help of Denchfield Landscaping Inc. All proceeds will go towards equipment for athletes, facility improvement, and to meet the needs of all of our student-athletes and their teams. Your orders will go a long way to keeping WCHS Athletics amongst the best in the state of Maryland. We are also offering families the opportunity to donate mulch to the beautification of their school. If you would like to buy and donate bags to your child’s school, there is a donate button in which to do so. Just choose the school you want mulch to go to.
Support Bulldog Athletics & your community, buy your mulch from us!

7. Special Education ProgramsMCPS is partnering with xMinds, the Partnership for Extraordinary Minds, to host free webinar sessions to share more information with parents and guardians about autism program placement options in MCPS.

There will be three virtual Zoom meetings—simultaneous meetings on Tuesday, Feb. 7 (one for preschool students; the second for middle and high school students) and one on Thursday, Feb. 9 (for elementary students). Each presentation focuses on placement options, but parents should attend the session that is appropriate for their child’s age.

For more information about special education program placements and services, visit the xMinds website with interactive maps that can help identify special education services based on a student’s grade level.

Registration is required. All sessions will offer Spanish interpretation.
